  1. My suggestion would be stick to the basics. This will live in your personnel file forever. Give the date of your termination (at least 2 weeks notice), and the position you are resigning from. During the exit interview, you can be creative and different, I would not suggest it in the letter.
  2. My last one was on a Post-it note: "I quit!" Worked out very nicely, too.
  3. Neat,Clear,Concise with not too much content as to why?
  4. Good thinking. I quit. Looks nice but won't work. You are on the right track. Thank them for the opportunity that they gave you and for helping you learn skills that could help you in your future goals. Stay on the positive side and then remember to keep it simple and don't point blame. No more than a few paragraphs. Be honest in your letter, from your heart. OF course if they were bad employers then this won't matter to anyone but you.
  5. Dear sir/madam, I've enjoyed working for your organisation for the (length of time) and would like to leave you with a poem. for many years i've toiled and earned and saved and gave my all, now the time has come to say goodbye and FCUK you all. And as you smile and curse and splutter be thankful that i'm gone for chit chat bull and words that are muttered mean nothing, i'm now gone. Byeeeeeeee.
  6. Tell them you have "Anal Glaucoma". When they ask what that is, say, "I don't see my @$$ coming back here!" :)
  7. First of all, don`t rattle on.---In the first paragraph > brief statement that you are resigning & give date when it will be effective. 2nd para.> Thank employer for all the opportunities and education you have had during your employment. Conclude > by offering to assist with the transition. Close with" Respectfully Yours" & hand written signature.
