- OMG that is too funny. I just did mine last week and used this link. All I did was copy and pasted and changed the personal information and company name. There are alot of different styles you can copy from. Good luck on a new job. I hated mine and found a great new job. http://jobsearch.about.com/od/sampleresignationletters/Resignation_Letter_Samples.htm
- I regret to inform you that I will be resigning my position. I want to thank <the company> for providing me this opportunity as I have enjoyed my time here. I want to personally thank <person who hired you or manager you had> and wish him/her the best of success in the future. My last day of work will be <date>. Best Regards, <your name> Be sure when you have your exit interview to ask if there you can reapply to the company in the future. If they say yes, you know you were valuable to them. If they give a lame sounding excuse "Oh, we're not sure we'd need some with your skills again" then you are in their bad books.
- here: i hereby resign effective (put date). no need to thank them,ot tell them how happy/sad you are to leave.

- People have given good examples her. Keep it short and to the point. 1. i am quitting 2. Effective when? 3. thanks for giving me the job. Beyond that, you discuss, but do not put into writing. When Richard Nixon resigned as president of the United States , all he did was write a letter to the secretary of state saying, "Dear Mr secretary, I wish to resign from my position as president of the United States. Sincerely yours, Richard Nixon." The rest is history.
