- You've already said enough. Just use that.
- be honest. tell your coworkers and to whom you are writing your letter to that you are going to study overseas. make sure you also thank the company for your growth in your career working there.
- Are you sure you can't give 2 weeks? I say NEVER burn a bridge... Simply say something to the affect of: With regrets, as of __________, I will be terminating my position with your company to further my studies overseas. I thank you for the many opportunities you have provided me with your company, but this opportunity is one I must seize now, or it may not come along again. I appreciate your understanding of this situation, and offer my services to help you train a new employee to fill my position upon my leave. Regards, _____________________

- Date Today Dear <name of employer/manager> This is to inform you that my last day would be on November 25, 2007, 30 days from now as required by the labor code. I will be studying abroad in order to enhance my skill and be with my parents as well. If you can shorten my last day to two weeks, I will take it as a farewell gift from you and the company as well. Thank you for the opportunities you have given me and let me know how I can assist you regarding my turnover. Respectfully yours, Your Name
