Help addressing a resignation letter for work without knowing my manager's last name?

I'm 17 and resigning from the job I have had for over a year now. We got a new manager a couple months ago and I don't know her last name - she has never told me and it isn't written anywhere. How do I address the resignation letter? Help!

  1. Ask. That is something you have a right to know.
  2. ask your manager... what is your last name... and how do you spell it? simple as that
  3. Ask someone in the HR Department what the new manager's last name is and then address it. Once you know what it is, here's a quick and easy sample: Date Ms. (fill in the blank) Company name Company address Re: Resignation Dear Ms. (fill in the blank): Please accept this letter as formal notification that I will be resigning from your company as of (your last day of work). Working here was a great learning experience. I wish everyone the best of luck. Sincerely, (leave space to sign your name) Type your name
  4. You ask someone else you work with. If you can't find it out, just use whatever name you've been using. Make the letter short and sweet with no complaints.
